Robco 4260 The workhorse

High abrasion resistance, yet soft on wire surface, #4260 is our standard block for general purpose wiping. The wiping area is made of 100% high quality para-aramid filaments treated with high temperature resistant lubricants. Available in Regular or High-Density (HD) hardness.  Cross-Section: 1/2” to 1-1/4” Length: 1” to 72”

Robco 4270 Economical

A lower cost alternative, Robco 4270 is similar in construction to Robco 4260, however the wiping area is made of 50% high quality para-aramid filaments treated with high temperature resistant lubricants.  Cross-Section: 1/2” to 1-1/4” Length: 1” to 72”

Robco 4290/4292/4295 The soft ones

Using high quality para-aramid spun yarn, instead of standard laments, our #4290 series wiper blocks deform easier and accommodate larger wires. They can also be coated with a graphite-based compound to help dissipate surface heat.   Cross-Section: 1/2” to 1-1/4” Length: 1” to 72”

Robco thin wiping pads

Lowering cost of material used Thinner is better! These thin pads made from lubricated high-quality para-aramid fabric, are used in conjunction with regular blocks, simply to lower the initial acquisition cost.  Width: 3/4” to 2” Length: 1” to 72” Thickness: 1/4” to 1/2”

Robco pre-formed para-aramid blocks Improved homogeneous wiping

These blocks are vulcanized into a pre-moulded form, to wipe more evenly on bigger wires and avoid high pressure points on the wire. Made from para-aramid fabric saturated with rubber and treated on the surface with a high temperature lubricant.  Cross-Section: 1” to 2” Length: 1” to 18”
